CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Organising Committee of ASBTE 2026 invites submissions of abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 30th Annual Conference, to be held in Adelaide from 7 to 10 April 2026. 

Theme & Scope

This conference offers a premier forum for scientists, engineers, clinicians, and industry professionals working across biomaterials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and related fields to exchange cutting-edge research and innovations.

 

We welcome original contributions in the following categories:

  • Biomaterials and design synthesis

  • Biomaterial-cell interaction

  • Advanced manufacturing

  • Emerging technology in tissue engineering

  • Clinical Translation and Commercialisation

Presentation Modes

Abstracts may be submitted for oral presentation or poster presentation. The Scientific Committee will review submissions and assign the most appropriate format based on quality, relevance, and fit with thematic sessions.

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline:  Monday 1st December 2025

  • Notification of acceptance: Monday 26th January 2026

  • Presenter registration deadline: Monday 16th February 2026

  • Conference dates7–10 April 2026

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts should address the conference categories

  • The abstract title should be short and descriptive

  • Abstracts should not exceed  300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations)

  • Include title, authors, affiliations, background, methods, results, conclusions, and keywords

  • A corresponding author must be designated with contact information (email, affiliation)

  • At least one author must register for and attend the conference to present the work

  • Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee
